StreamElements Introduces Performance-Based Sponsorships to Twitch Streamer Dashboards

In a groundbreaking partnership, StreamElements has collaborated with Twitch to integrate its performance-based sponsorships from prominent brands directly into streamer dashboards, thereby enhancing monetization opportunities for creators of all levels. This move is expected to raise awareness about StreamElements' top-notch tools and sponsorship opportunities among the broader creator community, while underscoring Twitch's commitment to providing its users with additional revenue streams. Notably, this is the first instance of Twitch embedding a third-party partner into its sponsorship dashboard. According to StreamElements, these sponsorships provide a reliable and accessible source of income. The firm's CEO, Or Perry, noted that this partnership aligns with the shared vision of prioritizing creators and assisting streamers in monetizing their content. He added that this collaboration significantly expands access to StreamElements' sponsorships for Twitch creators of all sizes. Mike Minton, Twitch's chief monetization officer, stated that sponsorships are crucial to the growth of streamers and their communities. With the introduction of Creator Profiles and the new partnership with StreamElements, creators can now effortlessly showcase their channels and connect with relevant sponsor campaigns. By integrating these tools into the Twitch dashboard, the process of securing brand deals is simplified, enabling streamers to increase their revenue. Interestingly, despite a stable watch time on Twitch, with 18.9 billion hours watched in 2023 compared to 18.5 billion this year, StreamElements' State of the Stream 2024 report suggests that the lack of growth may be attributed to creators migrating to other platforms or splitting their time across multiple platforms to expand their fanbase.
