Staff Reductions Hit 10:10 Games Following Poor Performance

Around 20 employees at 10:10 Games, the development studio behind Funko Fusion, have allegedly been let go due to layoffs. According to reports from Insider Gaming, this decision was made in response to the game's underwhelming commercial and critical reception. Sources indicate that staff members were informed of the cuts in mid-January, after the studio faced difficulties in securing funding for an upcoming project, with some employees receiving the news while on leave. It is claimed that affected staff have been offered the minimum required severance package, along with payment for unused vacation time. GamesIndustry.biz has attempted to contact 10:10 Games for further comment. Founded in 2021 by industry veterans Jon Burton and Arthur Parsons, 10:10 Games is based in Warrington and released its debut title, Funko Fusion, in September 2024.
