Stormteller Games Emerges as the New Identity of Thunderful Gothenberg

The formerly known Thunderful Gothenberg studio has undergone a transformation, emerging as Stormteller Games. This change comes after the 2017 merger between Image & Form and Zoink! Games. The rebranding effort seeks to create an identity that accurately represents all team members. The studio's first project under its new name is Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, scheduled for release later this year. According to studio head Johan Petersson, the rebranding process involved the entire team, ensuring the new identity reflects everyone's vision. The approach moving forward will combine the best aspects of both legacy studios, focusing on sustainable game development and gameplay-driven design. This news follows recent industry developments, including Jumpship co-founder Dino Patti's reacquisition of the studio and investment in Viewfinder developer Sad Owl Studios.
