MTG Finalizes $620 Million Acquisition of Plarium
Modern Times Group has successfully completed the acquisition of Plarium, valued at $620 million, from its former owner Aristocrat Leisure Limited. The acquisition agreement, signed in November 2024, included a deferred payment of $20 million scheduled for 2026. With the deal now finalized, MTG will initiate the process of onboarding Plarium and fully incorporating it into the company. According to reports by Pocket Gamer, the acquisition may result in additional earnings of $30 million based on 2025 revenue from Raid: Shadow Legends, with a potential further $170 million based on Plarium's revenue in 2028.
