Brian Foote Takes the Helm as CEO of Fireshine Games

Fireshine Games has made a significant announcement, naming Brian Foote as its new Chief Executive Officer. Foote initially joined the company in 2024 as Chief Business Development Officer and will now succeed founder James Cato, who is retiring. With a career spanning over two decades, Foote boasts extensive experience in the retail and publishing sectors, having worked with prominent companies such as Amazon, Team17, and Microsoft, in addition to his senior role on PlayStation's global third-party team. According to Foote, "Fireshine Games has experienced remarkable growth in its digital business in recent years, with 2024 being a standout year thanks to the successful releases of Core Keeper and Shadows of Doubt." He added, "We have established a robust publishing team and a solid business foundation, enabling us to navigate the industry's challenges. Our release schedule for 2025 and beyond looks promising, and we're excited to share it with our players. Meanwhile, we will continue to provide comprehensive publishing and co-publishing services to both new and existing partners." Founded in 2014 as a rebranding of Sold Out Games, Fireshine has offered co-publishing services to notable partners like Neowiz (Lies of P), Playstack (Balatro), and Rebellion (Sniper Elite: Resistance).
