Bohemia Interactive Sees 34% Revenue Surge to $60.8m in Latest Financial Year

Bohemia Interactive has reported a significant 34% increase in revenue for the current financial year, reaching $60.8m. According to co-founder and CFO Slavomír Pavlíček, "2024 has surpassed all our expectations," with major contributions from the DayZ expansion, Frostline. The studio has also successfully launched Arma Reforger on the PS5, Vigor on PC, and Ylands on the Nintendo Switch, while Arma 3 players have received two new DLC packs. Notably, 99% of the Czech game studio's sales, totaling 4.85m copies of games and DLC, originated from international markets across various platforms, including PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox, although a detailed breakdown of these sales was not provided. The US accounted for 42% of all sales, followed by the UK and Germany with 7% and 6% market share, respectively. Significant growth has also been observed in Ukraine and Brazil. Pavlíček highlighted the success of DayZ Frostline and Arma Reforger on PlayStation 5, stating, "The latest DayZ expansion has captured the hearts of gamers worldwide, while Arma Reforger on PS5 has established itself as a top military simulator with no competition in its genre." Furthermore, player interest continues to rise across all platforms, even as 2025 begins. Additionally, Arma 2 has achieved a remarkable milestone, selling over 47m units in the past 15 years.
