Lenovo Unveils Legion Go S, the First Officially Licensed SteamOS Handheld PC

According to a recent blog post by Valve, the SteamOS that powers the Steam Deck has undergone updates to provide seamless support for the Legion Go S, a more compact iteration of Lenovo's 2023 Legion Go model. As noted by The Verge, the SteamOS variant of the Legion Go S is scheduled for release in May with a price tag of $499, while a Windows 11 version is expected to hit the market this month. Furthermore, Valve has expressed plans to expand SteamOS compatibility to other third-party devices, with a beta version slated for release, allowing users to download and test it, although no specific timeline has been announced for the beta launch.
