Cloud Gaming Now Available on LG Smart TVs via Xbox

Xbox has collaborated with LG Electronics to introduce the Xbox application on LG Smart TVs. Starting February 18, certain LG Smart TVs will feature the Xbox App, allowing Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to stream select titles from their collection through cloud gaming. According to Xbox, "By using Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and a compatible Bluetooth-enabled wireless controller, users can play games via the Xbox app, accessible in LG's Gaming Portal, through cloud gaming." Additionally, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can play chosen games they own outside of the Game Pass catalog. Lori Wright, Xbox's corporate vice-president of gaming partnerships and business development, stated, "This provides players with more flexibility in enjoying their favorite games." In a separate development, Microsoft's plan to enable Android users to purchase and play console games through the Xbox app has been delayed, reportedly due to the ongoing legal dispute between Google and Epic Games.
