Jingle Jam 2024 Raises £2.7 Million in Record-Breaking Fundraiser

The 2024 Jingle Jam charity event has achieved an impressive fundraising milestone, with a total of £2.7 million raised over a two-week period. This remarkable feat was made possible by the collective efforts of more than 800 creators, who hosted a series of fundraising livestreams. Participants included notable personalities such as TommyInnit, The Spiffing Brit, and Smosh Games, as well as The Yogscast, the founder of Jingle Jam in 2011. The funds raised will be distributed among eight charities, with Autistica receiving £314,000, CALM receiving £470,000, Cool Earth receiving £280,000, Sarcoma UK receiving £269,000, The Trevor Project receiving £305,000, Wallace and Gromit's Grand Appeal receiving £396,000, War Child receiving £300,000, and Whale and Dolphin Conservation receiving £339,000. As part of the fundraising campaign, donors who contributed £35 or more were rewarded with a collection of games, including Two Point Campus, For The King 2, Shadows of Doubt, and Wildfrost. Highlights from the event, which took place between December 1st and December 14th, included Tommyinnit playing Minecraft with Technodad to raise funds for Sarcoma UK, a cause close to Technodad's heart following the loss of his son Technoblade to sarcoma cancer in 2022. Other notable events included the Smosh Games cast singing karaoke to support The Trevor Project and The Spiffing Brit playing Skyrim to raise funds for Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal. In a statement, Jingle Jam chair Rich Keith expressed his gratitude to the generous donors, game developers, and participating creators, saying, 'A huge thank you to all the viewers who donated generously to such wonderful causes, the developers and publishers who gave their games to the Collection for free and to all the creators who took part in this year’s Jingle Jam, putting together some of the most entertaining streams we’ve seen to date.'
