Warner Games Montreal has undergone a major restructuring, resulting in the loss of nearly 100 jobs. According to reports from Radio-Canada, the layoffs were announced via video conference on the same day Rocksteady Studios revealed it would be discontinuing support for Suicide Squad. The affected employees, primarily subcontractors from the Keywords QA team, were given eight weeks' notice and offered the option to either register for potential recall in 2026 or receive counseling to find alternative employment. An anonymous source described the situation as 'stressful and depressing,' feeling that the company has severely impacted the lives of those let go. Notably, the company's biannual meeting earlier in the summer had given no indication of impending redundancies, with management assuring staff that the studio had a sufficient workload. To date, neither WB Games Montreal nor Keywords has publicly addressed the layoffs.
