Nintendo Postpones Alarmo's Japanese Release
Nintendo has reversed its decision to launch the Alarmo clock in Japan this January, citing production and inventory concerns. The company announced the delay in an online statement, explaining that the product's availability for non-Nintendo Switch Online subscribers would be postponed. Initially, general sales were set to begin in mid-February 2025, but this timeline has been pushed back. The new launch date will be announced once confirmed. The popularity of the Alarmo clock in Japan was so high that even subscribers had to participate in a lottery for a chance to purchase it. Currently, there is no evidence to suggest that this supply issue affects markets in the US and Europe.
