October 2024 Revenue Charts: Call of Duty Takes the Lead
In October 2024, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2/3/Warzone/Black Ops 6 emerged as the highest-grossing game across six key markets, including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the UK, and the US, as analyzed by Newzoo. The game was followed by Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero!, EA Sports FC 25, and Fortnite, which secured the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively. Konami's Silent Hill 2 Remake made a notable debut at ninth place, marking a successful return for the iconic horror series. Meanwhile, Super Mario Party Jamboree achieved sixth place in the revenue chart despite being exclusive to the Nintendo Switch. In terms of player engagement, Fortnite maintained its top spot as the most-played game across all platforms, while Call of Duty trailed behind, having broken franchise records and achieved the largest launch weekend in its history. Although Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero was absent from the top 20 in terms of monthly active users, it experienced significant success on consoles, rising to second place in the revenue chart.
