Motorsport Games to Discontinue NASCAR Game Sales Following License Handover

Motorsport Games has announced that it will cease selling its NASCAR games by the end of 2024, following the transfer of the IP license to iRacing. As a result, all NASCAR games and their associated downloadable content will no longer be available for purchase after December 31, 2024. However, players who already own the games will still be able to play them. In a statement, Motorsport Games expressed gratitude to the community for their support and enthusiasm over the years. The decision comes after iRacing acquired the NASCAR simulation-style console racing games license in October 2023. Despite this, 704 Games, a subsidiary of Motorsport Games, will continue to develop games, with a new NASCAR console title expected to launch in 2025.
