Helldivers 2 Takes Top Honors as Game of the Year at 2024 TIGA Awards

The 2024 TIGA Awards saw Arrowhead Game Studios and Sony's Helldivers 2 emerge as the biggest winner, securing the prestigious Game of the Year and Best Technical Innovation awards. Additionally, Sony Interactive Entertainment received accolades for Best Use of a License with Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and Best Narrative in Games for The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered. Ninja Theory and Microsoft's Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 also took home two awards, including Best Action & Adventure Game of 2024 and Diversity in Games. Newfangled Games' Paper Trail won awards for Creativity in Games and Best Casual Game of 2024, while The Chinese Room's Still Wakes the Deep received recognition for Best Audio Design and Heritage in Games. In the business categories, Dlala Studio was named Best Small Studio of 2024, Rebellion won Best Large Studio, and nDreams took home the Best Publisher of the year award. Individual recognitions included Red Kite Games' studio director Simon Iwaniszak winning the Outstanding Leadership Award and Stainless Games' founder and CEO Patrick Buckland being named Outstanding Individual of the Year. The TIGA Awards, organized by the UK trade body, acknowledge excellence in the UK games industry.
