Codecks Receives €1 Million in Funding to Enhance Project Management Capabilities

Codecks, a Berlin-based firm, has successfully secured €1 million in funding to bolster its project management tool. The investment comprises a €700,000 grant from the European Union's Creative Europe Media Program and a €300,000 contribution from Codecks itself. This financial boost will enable the company to enhance its project management tool by introducing new features, upgrading existing ones, and expanding its team and infrastructure. According to Codecks co-founder Riad Djemili, "Our goal is to make game development both effective and enjoyable for developers." The grant is expected to significantly improve and expand Codecks, allowing the company to create new tools and make project management more efficient and enjoyable. Co-founder and lead developer Daniel Berndt added, "We created Codecks as a tribute to the game development community, and with this grant, we can make our vision even bigger, introducing features that will benefit every team member, regardless of their project or location." Founded in 2019, Codecks utilizes a unique, game-inspired card and deck system for its management tool, with notable clients including Unity, Warpfrog, and Free Lives.
