Xbox Cloud Gaming to Integrate Players' Personal Game Collections

November 21, 2024 Update: Microsoft has introduced a beta version of its cloud gaming service. Subscribers to Game Pass Ultimate can now access 50 games via streaming on various devices, including TVs, browsers, PCs, smartphones, and tablets. This feature is slated to be available on Xbox consoles and the Xbox app for Windows in the coming year. Originally reported on October 14, 2024: Microsoft is set to enhance its cloud gaming service by allowing players to stream titles from their personal Xbox game libraries. According to reports, the company will begin testing this feature with Xbox Insiders in November 2024 before a broader rollout. Currently, cloud streaming is limited to titles available on Xbox Game Pass, excluding owned games in players' libraries. Microsoft first announced plans to support personal game libraries in 2022 but faced delays due to infrastructure requirements for a vast game catalog and licensing issues with certain publishers.
