Steamwork APIs Streamline Game Version Switching and Beta Branch Access

Steam has unveiled new Steamworks APIs designed to address common hurdles associated with switching game versions. Previously, accessing alternative build branches was somewhat complex, but the new API simplifies the process for players to identify and load different game versions. According to Valve, developers can now provide players with in-game options to join beta branches for testing or revert to an earlier version of the game.
