GeForce Now Introduces 100-Hour Monthly Playtime Cap

Nvidia's cloud gaming service, GeForce Now, is set to impose a 100-hour monthly playtime limit. This change will apply to Performance and Ultimate tier subscribers, but not Founder members. According to Nvidia, this limit will affect only a small percentage of users, as it 'comfortably accommodates 94% of members.' Any unused playtime can be carried over to the next month, up to 15 hours, but cannot be accumulated, and the maximum available playtime at the start of a month is capped at 115 hours. Subscribers will have the option to purchase additional hours, with Performance members paying $2.99 for 15 hours and Ultimate members paying $5.99 for the same amount. The pricing for these memberships remains at $9.99 per month for Performance and $19.99 per month for Ultimate. Existing members as of December 31, 2024, will not be subject to the new rule until January 2026, while new subscribers from January 2025 will be immediately affected.
