Multiple Classic Games to be Removed from Sega's Digital Catalog

As of December 6, 2024, Sega will begin removing certain games and bundles from its digital Classics collections across various platforms. According to an announcement on the company's support website, while these titles will no longer be available for purchase, players who already own them will still have access to the games in their libraries. The delisting affects the Sega Genesis Classics bundle on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox, as well as the Mega Drive bundle on Steam. Notably, subscribers to Nintendo Switch Online will continue to have access to individual classic titles. A range of games, including Crazy Taxi, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Virtua Fighter 2, and Altered Beast, will be delisted on both Xbox and Steam, with other titles being removed from specific platforms.
