Alex Blum Joins Unity as Chief Operating Officer

Unity has made a key appointment, naming Alex Blum as its new chief operating officer. According to a regulatory filing, Blum's compensation package will include a base salary of $525,000 and a potential bonus of 75%, subject to the terms outlined in Unity's 2024 corporate bonus plan. Additionally, he is set to receive a one-time bonus of $25,000 in February 2025. Blum initially joined Unity in July 2024, taking on the role of senior vice president of corporate development. This appointment marks the latest change in Unity's leadership, following the recent naming of former King executive Steve Collins as chief technology officer. Collins succeeds Marc Whitten, who stepped down as chief product and technology officer in June, overseeing Unity's Create segment. In his new role, Collins will serve as CTO for the entire organization.
