Team17 Names Rashid Varachia as New CFO and COO

Team17 has confirmed the appointment of Rashid Varachia to the dual role of chief financial officer and chief operating officer. The current CFO, Mark Crawford, will be stepping down from his position on October 31 to explore other business opportunities. Varachia brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as CFO at both Jagex and Codemasters. His tenure at Codemasters began in 2012 as vice president of finance, before being promoted to CFO in 2015. In 2021, Varachia joined Jagex, where he played a pivotal role in the company's sale to CVC Capital Partners and Haveli Investments earlier this year. Team17's non-executive chair, Frank Sagnier, expressed his gratitude to Mark Crawford for his five years of service and welcomed Varachia, stating, "As a seasoned CFO with a proven track record in the video games industry, Varachia has consistently driven growth and delivered value to investors.
