Maintain Altitude Secures $500,000 in Pre-Seed Funding
Maintain Altitude, a mobile music game studio, has successfully raised $500,000 in its pre-seed funding round. Led by Hiro Capital, the round also saw participation from prominent angel investors who have backed notable titles such as Candy Crush and Guitar Hero. The studio is currently working on its inaugural game, Beat Hunter, with plans for a soft launch on iOS and Android in 2025, followed by a global release the next year. This new investment will be utilized to advance game development, augment the team, and forge strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the music industry. Founded in 2022 by CEO Oliver Moira and CTO Simon Prytherch, Maintain Altitude benefits from the extensive experience of its founders. Moira, with two decades in the music sector, co-founded Black Butter Records, later acquired by Sony. Prytherch brings over thirty years of experience in the gaming industry, having co-founded several studios, including Chromativity and Fluid Games, and held executive positions at Kwalee and Gamigo. According to Moira, this investment represents a pivotal moment for Maintain Altitude, positioning the company to redefine music gaming and create engaging experiences for a global audience.
