Testronic has announced a series of high‑level appointments across its worldwide operations, underscoring the company’s commitment to strengthening its leadership and expanding its service capabilities. Among the most notable additions is Mike Guttman, who has been appointed Vice President of Senior Partnerships. Guttman arrives with a robust background in client relationship management, having previously held the role of client partner at Keywords Studios and serving as a senior business development manager. In his new capacity, Guttman will be responsible for cultivating strategic relationships with key partners, driving growth initiatives, and ensuring that Testronic’s service offerings remain aligned with the evolving needs of the gaming and interactive entertainment sectors.
Supporting Guttman’s efforts is Nicole Closson, who joins the team as Business Development Manager. Closson’s mandate is to broaden commercial coverage and provide dedicated support to partners both regionally and globally. Prior to this role, she accumulated valuable experience at Keywords Studios, where she worked as an enterprise account executive, and at Unity, where she served as a senior account executive handling accounts for Parsec and SyncSketch.
Her deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles and her track record of delivering tailored solutions position her as a valuable asset in extending Testronic’s market reach. In the European hub of Warsaw, Testronic has elevated Mateusz Kałuża to the role of QA Director. Kałuża brings a wealth of expertise from his previous senior testing positions at Lionbridge Games, where he oversaw complex quality assurance projects for a variety of game titles.
Speaking about the strategic importance of the Warsaw office, Kałuża noted, "Warsaw combines profound QA knowledge, hands‑on experience, and a genuine grasp of what developers require from a testing partner. Our ongoing investment in this team allows us to deepen local expertise, integrate it seamlessly with Testronic’s global capabilities, and consistently deliver high‑quality outcomes for partners wherever they operate." Adding further depth to the company’s partnership portfolio, Lily Guerreiro has been appointed Global Partnerships Senior Manager. Guerreiro previously served as Global Business Development Manager at Keywords Studios, where she was instrumental in forging cross‑border collaborations and scaling business development efforts across multiple continents.
Her global perspective and proven ability to navigate complex partnership ecosystems will be critical as Testronic seeks to expand its footprint in emerging markets. The Manila Centre of Excellence has also seen senior leadership enhancements. Daniel Bowie Soriano joins as Senior QA Manager, bringing extensive experience in overseeing large‑scale testing operations and implementing best‑practice QA methodologies.
Working alongside him is Ivan Balanay, who takes on the role of QA Trainer. Balanay’s appointment is part of Testronic’s broader strategy to invest in the Testronic Academy, an internal training program designed to nurture the next generation of QA professionals.
The company highlighted that Balanay’s expertise will be pivotal in developing curriculum, mentoring new talent, and ensuring that the academy’s graduates are equipped with cutting‑edge testing skills. Chief Revenue Officer Michael Fitzgerald emphasized the strategic significance of these appointments, stating, "Our Centres of Excellence bring together talented people, specialist expertise and leadership, and connect those capabilities across a genuinely global organisation." He further explained that the recent investments in New Orleans, Warsaw, and Manila, in addition to the established presence in London, collectively enhance the depth and breadth of expertise available to Testronic’s partners. "By continuing to invest in outstanding people, we can deliver an exceptional Player‑Focused, Partner‑First and Outcomes‑Led service to our clients," Fitzgerald added.
These leadership changes come on the heels of a broader executive reshuffle earlier in the month. Sonia Kerr was named Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Sharon Baylay‑Bell, who transitioned to the role of company chair.
In tandem, Michael Fitzgerald was confirmed as Chief Revenue Officer, and Samantha Williams was appointed Chief Commercial Officer. Fitzgerald’s background includes a tenure as a client partner at Keywords Studios, while Williams previously held the position of Global CRO and head of Europe at Testronic, bringing extensive internal knowledge of the company’s operations and market strategy. Overall, Testronic’s recent appointments reflect a deliberate effort to bolster its senior leadership across key geographic locations, enhance its QA capabilities, and deepen its partnership network. By integrating seasoned professionals with proven track records in business development, quality assurance, and global partnership management, the company aims to deliver more robust, player‑centric services and maintain its competitive edge in the rapidly evolving gaming industry.
The expanded leadership team is expected to drive innovation, improve operational efficiency, and reinforce Testronic’s reputation as a trusted testing partner for developers worldwide.
