Former Disco Elysium Developers Launch Dark Math Games Studio

A new game development studio, Dark Math Games, has been established by a group of former ZA/UM employees, who are now working on a spiritual successor to the highly acclaimed role-playing game Disco Elysium. The studio, which consists of 20 team members, describes itself as a 'breakaway group' from the original Disco Elysium development team. One of the founders, Timo Albert, previously worked as a motion graphic designer on Disco Elysium. According to Companies House records, the active directors of Dark Math Games include Heiti Kender, the brother of Kaur Kender, an investor and executive producer of Disco Elysium. The studio's debut game, XXX Nightshift, is a science-fiction detective RPG that features a unique companion dynamic, allowing players to explore different paths when solving cases.
