Australian Release of Steam Deck Scheduled for November

Following a prolonged wait, Valve has confirmed that the Steam Deck will be launching in Australia this November. The news was announced at the PAX Australia event in Melbourne, marking a significant milestone almost three years after the product's initial release. According to The Verge, the base 256GB model featuring an LCD display will be priced at AU$649, equivalent to approximately $437. Additionally, Valve will introduce two OLED versions of the Steam Deck: a 512GB model priced at AU$899, or around $605, and a 1TB variant available for AU$1,049, which translates to roughly $706. Although the exact release date remains unconfirmed, the original Steam Deck began shipping in February 2022, while the OLED version was unveiled in November 2023.
