A new game development studio, The Three Thousands, has been established in Melbourne, with seasoned EA professionals Joseph Donoghue, Nikhil Kurian, and Benjamin Dawe at its helm. Donoghue, the CEO, previously managed EA Australia as general manager, while Kurian, the CPO, was the general manager of EA Melbourne's Racing division, and Dawe, the CCO, served as the studio creative director at EA Melbourne. With their extensive experience in developing and managing prominent EA franchises, including Need for Speed and Real Racing, the founders are poised to drive innovation. The Three Thousands aims to transcend the gaming sphere, creating an immersive digital ecosystem that unites racing enthusiasts and gamers through engaging entertainment experiences. The studio has announced plans to release its first title in 2025, with additional partnerships and products in the pipeline.
