Porcelain Fortress, an Iceland-based game development studio, has successfully raised $3 million in seed funding. The investment round was led by prominent venture capital firms Behold Ventures, Brunnur, and Crowberry Capital, with the primary goal of supporting the studio's upcoming game project. As a result of this funding, the company has expanded its team from four to 14 members, including the appointment of Ingolfur Aevarsson, a former CCP director, as the new CEO. Porcelain Fortress gained recognition with its debut title, No Time To Relax, which has sold over 350,000 copies and maintains a significant following. The studio is set to announce its next project in the near future. According to Aevarsson, the team's proven ability to create engaging and entertaining games, as demonstrated by No Time To Relax, will be crucial in developing their upcoming title, with a focus on creating streamable moments that resonate with audiences.
