Nazara Secures $108 Million to Drive Expansion Through Strategic Acquisitions

Nazara Technologies has successfully raised $108 million in funding to enhance its capabilities for mergers and acquisitions. Key investors, including SBI Mutual Fund, Junomoneta Finsol, and Think Investments, have contributed to the company's strategic acquisition fund. This investment has already been utilized to increase Nazara's stake in Absolute Sports to 91% by acquiring an additional 19.35% share for $17.4 million. According to Nitish Mittersain, CEO and co-MD of Nazara, "The company has proven its ability to attract high-caliber investors who share our long-term vision of creating India's first globally recognized gaming giant." Mittersain added that this funding will significantly accelerate growth across key areas. Recently, Nazara Technologies acquired Fusebox Games, a UK-based company, for $27.2 million. Fusebox Games, founded in 2016, is a mobile gaming studio known for publishing interactive story titles such as Love Island and is currently developing similar games based on other global television IPs.
