Spiders Studio Leadership Initiates Workplace Audit and Announces Employee Benefits

In response to the recent staff strike, Spiders has announced the outcomes of its annual negotiations, which include salary hikes and agreements on remote work arrangements. The studio will also be conducting a thorough audit of its working environment, focusing on assessing psychosocial risks. The French studio, owned by Nacon, has confirmed that the minimum salary will increase by 11%, in line with union demands, in addition to a previously agreed 6.1% pay rise. The company has also guaranteed that employees currently working remotely full-time will not see any changes to their working arrangements, addressing one of the key demands of the striking staff. Furthermore, the studio's management has been engaged in discussions with staff representatives for several months, aiming to establish agreements for the studio's future, despite being stalled due to radical positions taken by the union. The strike, which involved 44 out of 95 staff members, was called amid allegations of mismanagement at the studio. The latest game from the studio, Greedfall 2, is set to launch in Early Access later this month.
