Microsoft allegedly issues apology to Jyamma Games over Enotria Xbox certification issues
According to reports, Microsoft has apologized to Jyamma Games after the developer claimed that the company had been unresponsive during the Xbox certification process for Enotria: The Last Song. In a message on Discord, Jyamma CEO Jacky Greco stated that Microsoft had reached out after the developer announced an indefinite delay in the Xbox launch. Greco expressed frustration, saying that despite having a console-ready version, Microsoft had ignored their queries about certification for two months. The decision to delay the Xbox launch was made after Jyamma initially planned to prioritize the PC and PS5 versions. However, the release date was later pushed back from August to September. Jyamma is not the only studio to face Xbox release issues, as Funcom and Larian Studios have also experienced problems in the past. Following an update, Jyamma announced that Xbox boss Phil Spencer and his team had contacted the studio, helping to resolve the situation. The studio is now working closely with Microsoft, aiming to release the game on Xbox as soon as possible. Xbox has also acknowledged Jyamma's feedback, stating that it will use this feedback to improve its processes and looks forward to working with Jyamma to bring Enotria: The Last Song to Xbox.
