Tilting Point Announces Significant Staff Reduction

Tilting Point, the developer behind the popular game Narcos, is undergoing a major restructuring, resulting in the loss of up to 90 jobs. According to a confirmation provided to MobileGamer.biz, CEO Kevin Segalla stated that despite efforts to sustain the business, the layoffs are unavoidable to ensure the company's long-term viability. Segalla noted that the redundancies could impact approximately 20% of the global workforce. With around 450 employees across offices in the US, Europe, and Korea, the firm is taking measures to maintain a healthy business model. Tilting Point is renowned for its work on notable titles such as Star Trek, Narcos, and SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off, among others. This is not the first instance of layoffs for the company, as it previously reduced its workforce by 60 employees in 2023 due to restructuring efforts.
