PTW Purchases Ghostpunch Games in $13 Million Deal
Pole to Win has finalized the acquisition of Ghostpunch Games, a Florida-based game development studio, in an all-cash transaction valued at $13 million. This strategic move is designed to bolster PTW's co-development services, while also enabling Ghostpunch to introduce innovative AI-driven QA automation solutions. The acquisition is slated for completion by early September. Founded in 2015, Ghostpunch Games boasts a team of over 60 employees and has collaborated with prominent studios such as EA, Gearbox Software, Bethesda Game Studios, and 2K. Following the acquisition, key personnel changes include Hugh Falk, who will assume the role of site head of PTW Fort Lauderdale and director of technology, while Alejandro Garcia-Tunon will become the director of co-development. Both executives will report to PTW's COO, Sijo Jose. Additionally, Rick Daniels will take on the position of head of sales for art and co-development, reporting to PTW's chief revenue officer, Kaley Hurst. Devon Brown has been appointed as PTW's senior animation manager, with Falk as his supervisor. According to PTW CEO Deborah Kirkham, "Ghostpunch has established itself as a highly respected development partner, renowned for its exceptional talent and impressive client retention rate of over 90%.
