Founders of Playrix Top the Inaugural Sunday Times Gaming Rich List for 2024

The Sunday Times has unveiled its inaugural Gaming Rich List for 2024, highlighting the top 30 wealthiest individuals in the UK's gaming industry. Playrix founders, Igor and Dmitry Bukhman, have secured the top spot with an estimated £12.54 billion in earnings, also ranking 27th on The Sunday Times Rich List 2024. Herman Narula, co-founder and CEO of Improbable, follows closely with £780 million, while Riccardo Zacconi, co-founder and former CEO of King, ranks third with £410 million. Other notable entrants include Rockstar co-founders Sam and Dan Houser at £350 million, and Facepunch Studios founder Garry Newman at £335 million. The list also features former Team17 CEO Debbie Bestwick, one of only three women to make the cut, with £130 million. The youngest entrant is 27-year-old Harry Lewis, part of KSI and The Sidemen, with a collective worth of £50 million. According to Robert Watts, compiler of the Gaming Rich List, 'The UK gaming industry has emerged as a significant British success story in recent years, generating thousands of jobs and contributing substantially to economic growth.'
