Adam Boyes Departs as Iron Galaxy Co-CEO

Following an eight-year tenure, Adam Boyes has announced his decision to leave Iron Galaxy. In a recent blog post, Boyes revealed that he will be stepping down from his position by the end of the year. Having initially taken the reins as CEO in June 2016, after holding key leadership positions at major gaming companies such as PlayStation, Capcom, Midway Games, and Electronic Arts, Boyes was later appointed co-CEO in November 2020, alongside Chelsea Blasko. As Boyes departs, Blasko will assume his responsibilities, becoming the sole CEO of Iron Galaxy. In his farewell message, Boyes expressed his gratitude to the team, stating, "I wish to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who welcomed me to lead this company alongside them." He also praised Blasko, saying, "Chelsea Blasko, thank you for sharing your insights on building a strong culture – I have every confidence that Iron Galaxy will thrive under your leadership as sole CEO." Boyes reflected on his time at the studio, saying, "Iron Galaxy has been the most rewarding place I've had the privilege to work. Although it may seem paradoxical to say this as I announce my departure, I believe we must all follow our passions. The video game industry is driven by dedicated individuals, and it needs our collective support now more than ever."
