Genvid's Silent Hill: Ascension Takes Top Honors at 2024 Creative Arts Emmy Awards

The interactive streaming series, Silent Hill: Ascension, developed by Genvid, has received the prestigious award for Outstanding Innovation in Emerging Media Programming at the 76th Creative Arts Emmy Awards. The series, which consisted of 22 episodes, aired from October 31, 2023, to July 15, 2024, and featured a choose-your-own-adventure style narrative where viewers determined the story outcomes. Utilizing Unreal Engine's MetaHuman Creator, the series was brought to life with cutting-edge technology. Genvid CEO Jacob Novak expressed his gratitude, stating, 'We are deeply humbled to receive this award from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.' He also extended his thanks to the team of over 300 individuals who worked tirelessly to make the project a success, as well as partners such as Konami Digital Entertainment, Bad Robot Games, and Epic Games. Following this achievement, Genvid is set to release its next project, DC Heroes United, later this year. The 76th Creative Emmy Awards will be held on September 7 and 8, 2024, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
