Google Launches $2 Million Fund to Support Latin American Indie Developers
Google has initiated the application process for its 2024 Indie Games Fund, allocating $2 million to support Latin American game development studios. Each selected studio will be awarded between $150,000 and $200,000. To be eligible, indie game developers must have previously released a game on Google Play or other platforms, including PC and console. The application window closes on September 13, 2024, with submissions received by August 30, 2024, being given priority. In the previous year, ten studios, including Actoon Studios, 67 Bits, Ogre Pixel, Big Green Pillow, Pincer Games, Blu Studios, Creative Hand, Mother Gaia, Purple Tree, and Rockhead Studios, were awarded a share of the $2 million investment.
