Mad Crusader Pledges $30 Million Investment in AA Gaming Ventures
Mad Crusader has unveiled plans to allocate $30 million towards the development of high-quality AA game titles conceived within its incubation program. This investment will be distributed across four rounds spanning two years, aiming to empower program graduates in transforming their preliminary concepts into commercially viable intellectual properties. Participants and incubator residents will retain equity in both the resulting products and Mad Crusader's game development holdings. Following the successful completion of the inaugural round, which took place from October 2023 to May 2024 and saw 10 participants graduate, the second round is slated to commence on October 21, 2024. According to Yarr Rash, founder and CEO of Mad Crusader, the company was established to address a significant disparity within the entertainment industry, where the demand for novel IPs is high, yet investment is hindered by risk. The program seeks to democratize IP creation by harnessing the creative potential of global talent, providing opportunities for individuals who may lack access to traditional educational or industry channels. Mad Crusader was founded by industry veterans, including Yarr Rash, Al King, and Jacob Beucler, who have backgrounds in renowned companies such as EA and Wargaming.
