Amazon Commissions New Animated Series, Secret Level, Based on Popular Video Games

Amazon is developing an adult animated anthology series, titled Secret Level, which draws inspiration from the world of video games. The series, created by the same team behind Love, Death & Robots, will feature original short stories set in the universes of well-known games, including New World from Amazon Games, Spelunky, and several unnamed PlayStation titles. Production will be handled by Amazon MGM Studios and Blur Studio, with Tim Miller at the helm, while Dave Wilson will oversee the project as supervising director and executive producer. Although the full list of involved game franchises has not been disclosed, further details are anticipated to be revealed during Gamescom's Opening Night Live. This project follows the success of Amazon's Fallout TV series, which garnered 65 million viewers within 16 days of its release.
