Eschatology Entertainment Lands $11.3 Million in Series A Funding

Eschatology Entertainment has successfully secured $11.3 million in its Series A funding round, with Krafton leading the investment. Additional support came from GEM Capital and The Games Fund, which had previously invested $4 million in 2022 to drive initial development and recruitment. This latest infusion of capital will facilitate the launch of the studio's inaugural title, a first-person shooter with Souls-like elements set in a post-apocalyptic Wild West environment. According to Eschatology co-founder Fuad Kuliev, "This partnership represents a shared creative vision, enabling us to craft a richly atmospheric and challenging game world." With the backing of Krafton, alongside continued collaboration with GEM Capital and The Games Fund, Eschatology Entertainment is now poised to bring its ambitious project to fruition. Maria Park, VP and head of corporate development at Krafton, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, "We're excited to support Eschatology Entertainment's innovative approach and look forward to their future successes." Founded in 2022 by Fuad Kuliev, Dmytro Kostiukevych, Boris Nikolaev, and Viktor Antonov, the studio's leadership boasts experience from renowned game development studios such as Valve and Wargaming.
