Supercell Names New Chief Financial Officer
Supercell has announced the appointment of Gerard Griffin as its new Chief Financial Officer. Griffin brings over 25 years of experience in finance and business leadership, having held senior positions at companies such as EA, Zynga, NBC, and Sportradar. He plans to collaborate with the leadership team to drive creative growth in the company's games and business. Janne Snellman, the outgoing CFO, will remain at Supercell, focusing on supporting existing and future growth initiatives, including working with investee companies. Griffin expressed his enthusiasm for joining Supercell, stating that he is looking forward to working with the team to innovate and scale the company's portfolio of games and engaged player base. Ilkka Paananen, Supercell's CEO and co-founder, welcomed Griffin, citing his experience in building and growing successful companies, and his passion for games, which aligns with Supercell's culture.
