Boss Team Games Collaborates with John Carpenter on Two New Halloween Titles

The publisher of Evil Dead: The Game, Boss Team Games, has joined forces with renowned filmmaker John Carpenter to develop two new horror games based on the Halloween franchise. Carpenter, an avid gamer, will be closely involved in the production process. In collaboration with Compass International Pictures and Future Front, the games will draw inspiration from the 1978 original film, with at least one title being built using Unreal Engine 5. This marks the first time the classic horror series will be adapted into a video game since the 1983 Atari 2600 release. Carpenter expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, "As an avid gamer, I'm excited to help revive Michael Myers in this game, and my goal is to send chills down your spine." Boss Team Games CEO Steve Harris added, "We're huge horror fans, and Halloween holds a special place in our hearts. Working with iconic characters like Michael Myers and building upon John Carpenter's original vision is a dream come true. We're thrilled to be collaborating with Malek Akkad and John Carpenter to deliver a unique experience that will captivate both movie and gaming enthusiasts."
