The mobile game Whiteout Survival has successfully surpassed $1 billion in revenue, as reported by Sensor Tower's latest analysis. This milestone was achieved in just 17 months, marking a significant accomplishment for the game. Following the footsteps of Monopoly Go and Honkai: Star Rail, Whiteout Survival becomes the third mobile title of 2023 to reach this feat. Initially launched in February 2023, the game generated $1 million in revenue during its first month and has since demonstrated steady growth. According to Sensor Tower, the game peaked at $100 million in revenue in June 2024, showing a 14% increase from the previous month. The analytics firm predicts that this record may be broken in July, given the game's consistent exceptional performance. The primary audience for Whiteout Survival is based in the US, accounting for 35% of its revenue, with significant contributions also coming from South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. Despite being labeled as a 'breakout success' by Sensor Tower, Whiteout Survival still trails behind Monopoly Go, which is expected to become the top mobile game of the year in terms of revenue and potentially the most successful mobile game of all time.
