NCsoft Pours $3.5 Million into Moon Rover Games

NCsoft has invested $3.5 million in Moon Rover Games to support the development of its inaugural title, a cooperative shooter known as Project Aldous, slated for release on PC and console platforms. This investment signifies the beginning of a long-term collaboration between the Korean publisher and Moon Rover Games. According to Byungmoo Park, Co-CEO, the studio's first game will contribute to the diversification of NCsoft's portfolio in terms of genre and geographical reach. Park noted that in seeking new business opportunities, they are actively looking for studios with specialized genre expertise and robust development capabilities, highlighting Moon Rover Games' exceptional experience in the FPS genre and innovative strategies. Founded in 2023 by developers of Far Cry and Battlefield in Stockholm, Sweden, Moon Rover Games is poised to introduce a fresh take on emergent multiplayer co-op action.
