Following a tip regarding potential redundancies at Electric Square, the company clarified that these changes are specific to Lively Studio. According to a spokesperson, the layoffs are a result of a strategic review aimed at optimizing certain business areas, impacting a small number of employees at Lively's Leamington base. The decision is part of the company's long-term strategy, with a focus on supporting affected staff and providing career guidance. Both Lively and Electric Square, owned by Keywords Studios, offer an array of development services, with Lively having worked on notable titles such as Warped Kart Racers and Detonation Racing, founded by a leadership team with a background at Electric Square.
