The deadline is approaching for UK gaming companies to participate in this year's salary benchmarking project, a joint effort between GamesIndustry.biz and Brightmine, formerly known as XpertHR. This established benchmarking service has been adopted by numerous industries and aims to provide valuable insights into pay scales, helping businesses compensate their teams fairly and retain top talent. Last year's pilot programme with GamesIndustry.biz yielded key findings on pay gaps, which can be found here. The 2024 programme is now underway, ensuring all submitted data remains confidential and anonymous, protecting both companies and individuals. Participation is free, with all contributors receiving a complimentary basic report. Enhanced reporting and database access are available for a fee.
