Gamescom Asia 2024 Lineup Announced, Featuring Capcom and Shawn Layden

Gamescom Asia's organizers have unveiled the first set of participants for this year's event, which includes renowned industry figure Shawn Layden and the highly anticipated return of gaming giant Capcom. The exhibition will take place at the Suntec Centre in Singapore from October 17 to 20. As the first major publisher confirmed to attend, Capcom is expected to showcase its most eagerly awaited titles and host the prestigious Street Fighter 6 esports tournament. Other notable games that will be featured on the show floor include Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, Terratech Worlds, First Dwarf, and JDM: Japanese Drift Master, with over 150 exhibitors slated to participate. Shawn Layden will lead the business conference with an in-depth discussion about the future of the gaming industry. A star-studded lineup of speakers has been confirmed, including Hooded Horse president Snow Rui, game director Jaeho Hwang, and representatives from prominent gaming companies such as CD Projekt Red, Riot Games, and Sega. The entertainment stage will feature an exciting array of talent, including Andrew Wincott, the voice behind Raphael in Baldur's Gate 3, and acclaimed J-pop artist Shihori.
