Apex Legends Battle Pass Pricing Undergoes Significant Changes

Respawn Entertainment has revealed a major overhaul of the Apex Legends battle pass pricing model, which will now only be accessible through real-money purchases. This change is set to take effect with the launch of Season 22. Previously, players could acquire battle passes using in-game currency, but this option will be discontinued. The battle pass will be split into two tiers: Premium, priced at $9.99, and Premium+, priced at $19.99, each offering distinct in-game rewards. As a result of this change, players who wish to purchase a full season will need to buy both tiers, effectively doubling the cost. According to Respawn, these adjustments aim to create a more accessible and realistic experience for the game's global player base.
