Project N Experiences Staff Reductions as Network N Streamlines Services

Approximately one-third of Project N's workforce has been let go as the company undergoes a restructuring process to concentrate on its core services. The news of the layoffs initially surfaced through social media posts by former editorial team members, deputy editor Jack Ridsdale and senior staff writer Miri Teixeira. Following confirmation from Network N, the parent company of Project N, it was revealed that the layoffs are part of a broader strategy to reduce operational costs by narrowing down the services offered. Network N, which operates several media outlets including PCGamesN, Pocket Tactics, and The Digital Fix, has reassigned some staff members to other departments. Prior to the layoffs, Project N had a team of 22, with eight positions now being made redundant. According to Network N's executive chairman, James Binns, the decision to downsize is a response to the current market conditions, where fewer new game releases are forcing the company to adapt and reduce expenses. Binns expressed sadness over the departure of the affected staff members, praising their contributions and wishing them success in their future endeavors.
