Dungeon & Fighter Mobile Generates $270 Million in First Month Following China Launch
According to Sensor Tower, Dungeon & Fighter Mobile, the latest collaboration between Tencent and Nexon, has amassed over $270 million in revenue within its first month of release in China. Following its launch on May 21, the mobile game secured the top spot in terms of downloads and revenue on Apple's App Store, as reported by Bloomberg. Notably, it has earned double the revenue of Tencent's best-performing game, Honor of Kings. Initially released in South Korea in 2022, Dungeon & Fighter Mobile is a spin-off of Nexon's Dungeon & Fighter series, with Tencent acquiring the publishing rights for China shortly after. The game's release in China was delayed due to regulatory restrictions, as previously noted by PocketGamer. Nan Lu, Sensor Tower's senior director of Asia-Pacific marketing, commented, "Dungeon & Fighter Mobile has consistently occupied the top positions across all iOS charts since its release, demonstrating a remarkably stable and strong start. The game's future performance will hinge on Tencent's operational strategies and the game's ongoing updates."
