Pullup Entertainment Invests in Uppercut and Rundisc

Pullup Entertainment has secured minority holdings in independent game development studios Uppercut Games and Rundisc. As a result, the company will gain a financial stake in Uppercut, the developer behind Submerged, and will co-publish the studio's upcoming project via its subsidiary, Focus Entertainment Publishing. Focus Entertainment Publishing previously released Rundisc's Chants of Sennaar and will continue its partnership with the studio on a new project. Founded in 2011 by industry veterans Andrew James and Ed Orman, Uppercut Games is based in Australia. The agreement between Pullup Entertainment and Uppercut was facilitated by Cam Rogers Legal, a law firm specializing in video games and digital entertainment in Australia. According to Uppercut Games director Ed Orman, "The team at Cam Rogers Legal worked diligently and provided invaluable guidance and support, which were crucial in finalizing this deal."
